1. How do I search for properties ?

Use either simple key words like "hydrophobicity" or partial keys like "hydro". A list of properties will be listed with corresponding values for each of the 20 amino acids.

2. Can I add new properties to the database ?

Yes. You can and you will be acknowledged for addition of relevant, non-redundant properties. The program will incorporate only those properties that are not already available. The new property will be audited before inclusion and a new index will be assigned.

3. Does this database contains all properties listed in AAINDEX and PROTSCALE ?

No. We selected relevant and generalized properties. Incomplete dataset were not included.

4. How do I cite this dataset?
