Resources for Caregivers
Taking care of a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease is
very challenging. It requires knowledge, patience, skills, and
knowing when to get help. Sadly, caregivers often neglect their
own emotional and medical needs. In fact, caregivers may precede
their loved ones in death for these very issues.
The Roskamp Institute Memory Center is dedicated to providing
education and support to caregivers. We regularly schedule educational
workshops for caregivers covering a broad array of topics including
Alzheimer’s 101, Stress Management, Dealing with Difficult
Behaviors, Legal Planning, Medicare Services, and Treatment Updates.
